SSC GD Result 2026:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is yet to announce the SSC GD Constable Result 2026, although media reports indicate that the result could be released this week. As of October 5, 2026, the commission has not published the merit list or confirmed a specific date for declaring the result of the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The SSC GD Constable CBT was conducted from April 27 to May 30, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination are awaiting the result, which will be published on the official SSC website once the evaluation process is complete.

SSC GD Result 2026: How to check

The result is expected to be released in PDF format containing the names and roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage. Candidates will not require login credentials to check the merit list.

Once the result is released, candidates can follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the âResultsâ section.

Step 3: Select the âConstable-GDâ tab.

Step 4: Open the link titled âDeclaration of Result of Computer Based Examinationâ.

Step 5: Download the result PDF.

Step 6: Use Ctrl + F on a computer, or the search option on a mobile device, to find the roll number or name.

Candidates who meet the prescribed CBT cut-offs will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The physical assessment includes prescribed physical standards, including height and chest measurements where applicable, along with a running event.

Candidates qualifying in the physical stages will move to the medical examination and document verification. These stages precede final force allocation.

The recruitment process covers forces and organisations including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Assam Rifles and National Investigation Agency-related vacancies as notified.

SSC GD 2026: Completed and expected milestones

The provisional answer key was released on June 15, 2026, and the objection window remained open until June 20, 2026. The written result is expected in October 2026, while the scorecard is expected around one to two weeks after the result.

PET/PST is expected around November or December 2026, followed by medical examination and document verification in early 2027. The final merit list and force allocation are expected later in 2027.
