NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 allotment result today: Check schedule and reporting rules

NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to release the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 provisional seat allotment result on September 30, 2026. Candidates who participated in the third round can check their allotment status through the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, once the result link is activated.

The provisional result is expected between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, followed by the final seat allotment result on the same day after grievances are reviewed. Candidates allotted seats must complete physical reporting and joining at their assigned institutions for joining during the reporting period from October 1 to October 9, 2026.

Candidates should visit mcc.nic.in and select the âUG Medical Counsellingâ tab. Under âCurrent Eventsâ, they need to open the âRound 3 Seat Allotment Resultâ link. The allotment result PDF will open, allowing candidates to use Ctrl + F to search their roll number or rank. Candidates who receive a seat must log in to the candidate dashboard with their credentials and download the provisional allotment letter.

Rules for candidates allotted seats

Round 3 does not provide a free exit option, unlike the first two rounds.

Candidates freshly allotted a seat who decide not to join will have their security deposit forfeited.

For candidates receiving an upgraded seat, the Round 2 seat is automatically cancelled. They must collect their original documents and obtain a relieving letter from the previous college before reporting to the newly allotted institution.

Documents required during reporting

Candidates reporting to medical or dental colleges should carry original documents along with photocopies. These include the NEET UG admit card and scorecard, provisional allotment letter, Class 10 and 12 certificates and marksheets, category, EWS or PwBD certificate where applicable, and government-issued identity proof such as Aadhaar or Passport.

Candidates without a seat in Round 3 will automatically become eligible to register for the Stray Vacancy Round. Fresh registrations for the round are scheduled from October 12 to October 14, 2026.
